"the VOMIT IS THICKENED AND BOILED" - Yimmy 2009
NEXT SHOW: WE'LL LET YOU KNOW
If you're wondering why you haven't heard from us lately; we're busy. The band has gone into writing mode again, with a couple of gigs on the side of course. Don't worry, we'll update you on the happenings. We have one or two guests coming in for the writing of this long awaited new album, and we think you'll be peasantly suprised with the new sound. Webmaster Melvin has described the last couple of new tracks as, "delightfully fresh and listenable, and yet far from the boring, safe, and sickenly "happy", sound that so many bands are currently producing." Not that we are afraid of writing a few songs in Major Keys, there's and art to making songs happy without making people vomit right Melvin?
After an intense time in Australia the band has come back full of life. Thank you to all who joined us in Thirroul and to the management of Ryans Bar. It was truly a special show. Thak you also to Mark Williams for sharing the night with us and for the hospitality and encouragement he provided the band during our stay.

Thanks to all who were involved with helping us in the Whangarei Mid Winter Arts Festival. The show went great, and the boys had a ball on Saturday playing at the Buskers Stage. Special thanks to Denny, Reid, Marty, Matt, and the Metro Boys. And of course Jim Lawrie who continues to amaze everyone around himwith his awesomeness.
(p.s. a note from the band: huge thanks to our mates in the band 'Kamel' for helping us out. Good to know there's still someone out there we can rely on to give us a hand. Cheers boys.)
The Gridlock Project would also like to thank Jim Lawrie and Robbie Wallace for helping us out recently when they really needed them to lend a hand.
